Asset Auditing

W.Lucy in the UK has used several toolmakers in China and have several hundred tools dotted around the country.  This assignment required a complete audit of those tools.  No procedures existed for the implementation of this requirement so the first task was to devise a formal dual language procedure followed up with full inspection and documentation of the tools location, condition, usage, machines required to run etc, etc.  Full co-operation from the Chinese suppliers was essential in the completion of this assignment.  Colin Upton’s experience and knowledge of the Chinese working methods and culture were invaluable in the successful completion of this assignment.
